REKK records phone calls by using the 3-way conference calling feature provided by your mobile carrier. The app silently listens to the call and records what is said by both persons until you end the call.
REKK records by creating a conference call between you, the person you want to record, and our service number, which records the call. To be able to create this conference call, your mobile carrier MUST support 3-way conference calling. Without this, the "merge calls" button will not work and REKK will not be able to record. Simply give your mobile carrier a call and ask them to enable 3-Way Conference Calling on your line. Once enabled, the "merge calls" button will begin working as intended. The price of 3-way conference calling feature may vary depending on your plan and carrier.
Please note that SimpleTalk and H2o Wireless do NOT offer 3-way conference calling in the US.

Go to "Recordings" and select the recording that you want to listen.
Recordings are transcribed automatically. It may take some time depending on the duration of the call.
Go to "Recordings", swipe left the recording that you want to rename and tap the "pencil" icon.
Go to "Recordings", swipe left the recording that you want to delete and tap the "dustbin" icon. The recording will be deleted completely without the possibility of recovery.
Go to "Recordings", select the recording, tap the "Note" button and “Add a note”.
Usually, it takes a few seconds, but it can take more time if the duration of the call is 30 minutes or longer.
Yes, you can. Go to "Recordings", select the recording and tap the "share" icon in the top right corner of the screen. You can share recordings via SMS, Viber, WhatsAPP or copy them to Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive.
If your phone number changes, your recordings will remain attached to the account registered to your original phone number. To have your recordings transferred to your new account, please email us at email@example.com. We cannot transfer your recordings to the new account if the “Backup” feature hasn’t been activated in your old account. To activate the “Backup” feature, go to “Settings”, tap “Records” and click “Use Backup”.
Your recordings will be safe, even if you lose or change phones only if you enabled the “Backup” feature. They will be stored in the cloud, not on your device. To enable the “Backup” feature, go to “Settings”, tap “Records” and click “Use Backup”.
We provide our REKK service numbers in major cities. You will be charged for calling the service number according to your plan and the country.
For now, REKK is available in the USA and Canada only.
